Regional Conferences!!!

Hello Maryland FFA,
Can you believe it? In less than a week, we will be at National Convention!!! We are all so excited and cannot wait to see the Maryland members in Indy! Besides starting to pack our bags, we have done some more traveling in our own state. Last Thursday we had our second regional conference with members participating from the Winters Mill, South Carroll, North Carroll, and North Harford FFA chapters. They definitely became the masters of the power rocket :) The state officers and I then all piled into my Expedition and we drove down to the eastern shore to Michelle's house. On Friday we had the pleasure of working with Kent County, Queen Anne's, and Caroline CTC chapters, as well as seeing one of last year's officers, Kevin! We absolutely loved the enthusiam demonstrated on the shore! And last, but certainly not least, Bridget and I will be watching MD members getting down and dirty at the State Land- Judging Contest this Friday! Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!

Love,
Kelsey

Regional Conferences

In the past few days my officer team and I have been very enthusiastic in presenting regional workshops to many FFA members. We just finished our conferences to students at the Community College of Baltimore County and at Chesapeake College. Kelsey and I had a blast presenting a Professionalism and Official Dress workshop. I would like to thank the FFA members that participated for making our day just as good as theirs.

Regional Conference- 1

Good morning MD FFA members!
As you might have read from Monica's blog, we have just completed our first regional conference! The Region 1 members were absolutely fanastic hailing from the North Garrett, Oakland, Fort Hill, Smithsburg, Boonsboro, and Clear Spring chapters. Bridget and I presented our workshop on official dress and professionalism, with me even modeling a purple boa and some rockin' silver heels :) There were also tours of the Frostburg State University campus. It was wonderful to get to meet so many new members and we cannot wait to conduct our next ones in a few days! If you ever, ever need anything at all, please contact one of us. My email is kelsey@mdffa.org. Please drop me a line- let me know whats happening with your chapter!

Lots of Love to Region 1,
Kelsey :)
